In the Studio
Some projects are preconceived, and some just happen, the product of materials, mood and experimentation. Here are some happy accidents and work in progress straight from my studio. -
Bodies of Work Retrospective
Images from the show at The 46 in November 2007. The best of fifteen years worth of my work, all up on the wall! The show included photographs, etchings, monoprints, collages, encaustic paintings, drawings and my recent sculptures made from recycled materials. -
Last Days at Studio 46
The art on the walls was the last thing I moved out of The 46 in the fall of 2009. These are sculptural sketches done over the previous 2 years—ideas for pieces, experiments and explorations executed in miscellaneous salvaged/recycled materials. -
ENCAUSTIC PAINTINGS
I fell in love with wax as a medium when I took an encaustic workshop at The Women's Studio Workshop. This series followed, and I've continued to use beeswax in my work to this day. -
